Bedfordshire Police is appealing for information after a stabbing took place in Great Barford on Friday (26 June).
Just after 4.20pm, officers were called to the High Street, close to the bridge, following reports that a man had been stabbed.
The victim – a man in his 20s - was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 5’11’’ with black hair, wearing a white tank top and black shorts.
Detective Inspector Jon Stow from Bedfordshire Police said: “We are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward and report to us.
“We understand that this incident will cause some concern for the community and we want to reassure the public that we are following several lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances of what we believe to be a targeted attack.”
