Man seriously injured in stabbing at Great Barford

Police were called to the High Street shortly after 4.20pm on Friday 26th June.

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a reported stabbing in Great Barford.

Multiple police vehicles were reported rushing to the scene around 16:30 hours on Friday 26th June.

One driver passing through the area reported numerous police cars parked in the car park of The Anchor pub and that the whole area was busy with people near, and in, the water, and that cars were parked on verges of all the roads on the way towards Barford bridge.

Earlier this week Cllr Phillippa Martin-Moran Bryant urged visitors to treat the local area with respect following concerns of anti-social behaviour.
