A student has been elected to a key youth leadership role while Shuttleworth College receives a positive Ofsted report.
A student from The Bedford Sixth Form has been elected as the new Deputy Member of Youth Parliament for Bedford, representing young people across the borough.
The role will see them contribute to national discussions and campaigns on issues affecting young people, including education, mental health and local services.
Meanwhile, Shuttleworth College has received a “Good” rating for its residential provision following an Ofsted inspection published on April 24.
Inspectors praised the supportive environment and quality of care provided to students, highlighting strong leadership and positive outcomes.
