Police issue appeals and confirm jail sentences in busy week for Bedford officers

A wanted man remains at large after a High Street stabbing, while four people have been jailed over a violent shop attack and police continue to appeal for witnesses to a serious crash.

Bedfordshire Police have issued a series of updates following a busy week of incidents across Bedford.

Officers are continuing their appeal to trace a man wanted in connection with a stabbing on Bedford High Street on April 20. The victim, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries but has since been discharged from hospital.

In a separate case, four individuals have been jailed after a violent knife attack inside a Bedford convenience store. The incident left a victim with significant injuries and prompted a major police investigation.

Meanwhile, officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A507 involving a car and a motorcycle. The crash occurred on April 20, with one man taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
