At the 2026 Community Radio Awards, Black Cat Radio won a bronze and a silver award from a shortlist of ten finalists.
At the 10th year of the awards ceremony, held in Birmingham on Saturday 24th October, Black Cat Radio was shortlisted in two categories - 'Voices of the Community' and 'Elections and political coverage'.
The results of the Huntingdonshire District Elections was the topic of the Elections & Political Coverage category and received a bronze award, whilst a Silver award went to coverage of the St Neots Prostate Cancer Campaign. The station supported local man Dave Young in promoting his awareness campaign, that resulted in over 300 local residents receiving PSA tests. Dave, who was Black Cat Radio's guest at the event was excited to be at the event and even more excited to see his campaign be recognised with an award. Dave said,
"I’m still taking it all in. Winning Silver at the Community Radio Awards for the St Neots Prostate Cancer Campaign was truly humbling.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped along the way on my prostate cancer journey. Thank you to Black Cat Radio for standing beside me and helping share my story and the message about prostate cancer."

Black Cat Radio has been nominated every year since 2020 and during that time has received four bronze, five silver and three gold awards.
