CCTV appeal after A428 affray

Police are appealing for help identifying three men following a fight between motorists on the A428 near St Neots.

Detectives have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with an affray at Eltisley on Thursday, 8 October.

The incident happened at around 3.10pm beside the A428 Cambridge Road, when three men who had got out of a grey Nissan truck became involved in a fight with the driver of another vehicle.

Police say the confrontation took place on a busy stretch of road during heavy traffic, putting other motorists at risk.

Detective Constable Sarah Black said:

“This violent incident took place on a busy stretch of road in heavy traffic, putting not only those involved at risk, but also other road users.

“We are keen to identify the men pictured as part of our investigation and would urge anyone who recognises them to get in touch.”

Anyone who recognises the men, witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Cambridgeshire Police through its website, quoting reference 35/78388/26.

Those without internet access can call 101.
