The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

"My ideal has always been to love some one of the name of Ernest. There is something in that name that inspires absolute confidence."

Mistaken identities, secret double lives, and outrageous romance collide in The Importance of Being Earnest, Oscar Wilde’s beloved comedy of manners.

When Algernon and Jack invent alter egos to escape their social obligations, their carefully crafted lies spiral into a whirlwind of confusion, unexpected proposals, and hilariously tangled relationships. Wilde delivers a sparkling satire of Victorian society filled with clever wordplay, unforgettable characters, and nonstop laughs.
