St Peter's church will be open as part of the annual celebration of England's architecture and culture that allows visitors free access to a wide variety of English historical landmarks, so will attract all visitors to this fascinating building with its own special and unique charm.

We will be displaying information on local rural history. There will be many interesting stories and facts to discover:

Where were the farms and who were the owners?
What type of farms were they?
What was it like to be a farm worker?
This is also an ideal opportunity to appreciate the history and architecture of our near 900-year-old local church with some interesting stories associated with the monuments, so if you have never been into 'the church with the spire' please come along.

Hope to see you in St Peter's over the weekend and don't forget it's free entry but donations would be welcome.
