My love for radio started in my teens, recording the charts on cassette and dreaming of being the DJ.

I began as a mobile DJ with my dad, then joined Radio Enfield, before launching my own station — Radio North Mid — in 1984. Life took me into teaching, but the mic kept calling.

I found my way back at Wey Valley, then Country Music Radio with the wild ride of Big Kids Country. From Verulam to Chiltern Voice, and now I’m proud to bring you country music every Monday night on Black Cat Radio — classics, new tunes, and friendly banter. Join me — it’s going to be a great ride.
