Local support group Little Miracles St Neots has been awarded £2,000 as part of the Thrive in 2025 Heart of the Community Awards.
The awards, funded and organised by an independent, family-run petrol station in St Neots, were set up to give back to the local community, with donations collected throughout the year going towards good causes. Little Miracles was chosen as one of the successful recipients and was notified via email earlier this month.
The £2,000 grant will go directly towards activities and resources for families supported by Little Miracles over the next three months.
A spokesperson for Little Miracles said:
“We’re incredibly grateful to have been nominated and selected. This funding will make a real difference to the families we support — helping us to provide more activities, equipment and opportunities over the summer months.”
Little Miracles St Neots is a parent-led support group that provides essential help to families who have children with additional needs, disabilities, or life-limiting conditions. They offer a safe, inclusive space where families can access emotional support, practical advice, play activities, and specialist resources — helping both children and their carers feel less isolated and more empowered in everyday life.
In a statement, Highland Group – St Neots, the company behind the awards and donation said:
“It gives us great pleasure to announce that, as a result of our nomination, Little Miracles St Neots has been successfully awarded funding. Many congratulations to them! As the only family-run, independent petrol retailer in town, we are only able to give back to the local community thanks to the continued support we receive from you — the people of St Neots.”
For Little Miracles and the families they serve, the award is more than just funding — it’s a vote of confidence from the local community they work so hard to support.
