BREAKING NEWS - Body Recovered from River in Little Paxton – Police Confirm Discovery of Missing Woman

Body of missing woman recovered from river

Police have confirmed that a body recovered from the River Great Ouse in Little Paxton this morning (Tuesday) is that of a missing woman.

Emergency services, including both police and fire crews, were called to the scene early in the day. The main bridge linking Little Paxton to St Neots remains closed while investigation work continues, causing travel disruption for commuters and local residents.

Officers have since confirmed that the body found is that of a woman who had previously been reported missing. Her identity has not yet been publicly released, and formal identification is expected to take place in due course.
