£1,000 Reward Offered After Memorial Vandalism
Full English Breakfast Show
Thursday, 16 July 2020 - 3 minutes
Following his emotional interview with Ste Greenall, Bob Wicks returns with an update on the ongoing vandalism at the memorial garden he created in memory of his late wife, Gloria.
The garden—built with £25,000 of Bob’s own money—sits within the cemetery off Little End Road in Eaton Socon and has been repeatedly targeted by vandals, leaving rubbish strewn across the site and causing deep distress.
Now, in a bid to identify those responsible, Bob is offering a £1,000 reward for information. But amidst the heartbreak, there’s a glimmer of hope: local residents have rallied in support, and CCTV will soon be installed to help protect the space.
In this follow-up interview, Bob shares how the community response has lifted his spirits—and why he’s determined to see justice done.
