Steve Cross
I’ve been a DJ since I was 16, playing mobile discos, bars, pubs, nightclubs, even Ministry of Sound. These days, I have a real job supplying background music to bars, five-star hotels, and leisure venues worldwide.
My breakfast show airs Sundays from 7 to 10 am. Each week, I explore history through music, linking songs to notable events like births, deaths, and marriages on that day.
You can interact with me through the Black Cat Radio app or by texting in. I love hearing from listeners.
My head is full of stories — some I share on air — alongside my eclectic music taste and what I like to call my musical encyclopaedia brain (with a little help from Google). All of this is best enjoyed with coffee and a chuckle.
