Phil Lack

From day one, music has been my world. At four, I was hooked on Billy Joel’s River of Dreams, and by 13 I had my own DJ setup, throwing discos for friends and dreaming of radio shows. A school trip to BBC 3 Counties sparked a real passion, leading to my first job there at 16 — where I worked my way up to hosting shows like Breakfast and Drivetime. After six years, I followed another passion and started my own haulage company, running a fleet of trucks. Now radio’s a beloved hobby — there’s nothing like sitting behind the mic, knowing people are listening and ready to be entertained.
