Paul Gray
Back in the 70s, I was proud to be one of the few UK DJs on the Motown freebies list, spinning soul at the California Ballroom in Dunstable — the legendary ‘Soul City.’
I worked alongside icons like James Brown, The Temptations, and even met Bob Marley when he toured with Johnny Nash. I stepped back from DJing in ’78 — late nights were catching up! But in 2002, a website revival reignited my passion, and I returned to radio with my Soul Stew show on Black Cat Radio.
Since 2022, I’ve been bringing you the best R&B, soul, and disco from the 60s to the 90s — with my regular features like Motown Chartbusters and Reggae Reggae Stew. Soul music is in my heart — and on your dial
