Mark Box

For me, music’s always been a personal journey — no right or wrong, just different routes we all take. I started in 1968 as a 15-year-old DJ at the local youth club.
By 17, I had a mobile disco with my mate Roy, and soon I was spinning soul on American air bases across East Anglia. I juggled life as an apprentice electrician by day, DJ by night, and I’ve loved watching music evolve ever since.
From vinyl to digital, I welcome it all. I’m Mark Box — husband, dad, granddad, retired spark, and lifelong music lover. Still can’t pick a favourite album — they’re all snapshots of life’s soundtrack
