Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a woman was seriously injured in a collision on the B645 between Hail Weston and Staughton Highway, near St Neots.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11am on 9 December after a collision involving a yellow lorry and a black Vauxhall Corsa.
Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue service confirmed that crews from St Neots, Kimbolton and Huntingdon attended the incident and had to use equipment to release a casualty from their vehicle.
The driver of the car, a 61-year-old woman from St Neots, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries.
The lorry driver was uninjured.
A 51-year-old man, from the Czech Republic, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody.
Sergeant Claire Marland said:
“I am appealing to anyone who saw the yellow lorry before the collision or has dashcam of it travelling from St Neots towards Staughton Highway to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to quote Operation Stockwell and report it through the police website.
