Drivers using the A428 are being warned of overnight road closures this week as part of ongoing improvement work between the Black Cat and Caxton Gibbet.
National Highways says new drainage is being installed on the A428 between Eltisley and Caxton Gibbet to improve the long-term safety and reliability of the road.
The A428 will be fully closed in both directions between the Eltisley northern roundabout and the Caxton Gibbet northern roundabout from 8pm until 6am, from Monday 8 December to Thursday 11 December 2026.
Traffic will be diverted via the B1040 and A1198.
Drivers are being urged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time.
