St Neots Dragon Boat Team enjoyed a spectacular day at the British Dragon Boat Racing Association event in London, returning home with two podium finishes and plenty of pride.
A squad of 44 paddlers represented the club across multiple events, including S14 Men’s and Women’s, Mixed 200m and 500m, Open 200m and 500m, and Juniors. The competition was fierce, but the team’s energy, determination, and spirit shone through.
The highlights of the day included a 2nd place finish in the Open 200m and 3rd place in the Men’s 200m. Additionally, the team achieved 3rd place in the Mixed 200m Minor Final, while the Ladies’ crew placed 5th out of 12 teams in a highly competitive field.
The club celebrated not just the results, but the teamwork, fun, and camaraderie that defines St Neots Dragon Boat Team. With the National Finals on the horizon in September, the team is ready to build on their success and push for one final, unforgettable season finale.
