Eynesbury Rovers saw their 15-match scoring run come to an end on Saturday as they fell to a 3–0 defeat at home to Hinckley AFC in the United Counties League Premier Division South.
Despite creating several chances and hitting the woodwork, Rovers couldn’t find a breakthrough. Lewis Lynn, Luke Young and Scott Joseph all went close before the visitors took the lead midway through the first half.
Hinckley doubled their advantage through Brady Middleton just after the hour mark and sealed victory with a late third.
Eynesbury will look to bounce back on Tuesday (28 October) when they host Godmanchester Rovers in the Huntingdonshire Senior Cup quarter-final, kick-off 7.45pm.
