15-year-old Hrishi Sharma delivered a standout performance for Bedford Cricket Club's Sunday 1st XI, scoring 110 runs off 113 balls. His century anchored Bedford's total of 274 for 7 in their 40 overs against Luton Town & Indians 2nd XI in the Bedfordshire County Cricket League Division One opener. Captain Rohit Mehmi contributed 61 runs, while Jonathan Huggins added 43.
In response, Luton Town & Indians struggled, reaching only 133 all out. Shiv Odedra initiated the collapse with figures of 3 for 46, and Jonny Dove sealed the victory with 3 for 9. Bedford secured a commanding 141-run win, marking a strong start in their pursuit of promotion to the Premier Division.
