Ahead of the 2025–26 season, Bedford Blues have strengthened their squad with the additions of George Worth, Archie Hosking, and Rafe Witheat. After finishing second last year, the club is aiming for promotion—with renewed depth, experience, and energy.
Bedford Blues are excited to confirm three more signings ahead of the 2025/26 Championship Rugby season, further boosting depth and talent across the squad.
First up is Nicholas Finch, a powerful and athletic back-row forward who joins from Limoges in France. Returning to English rugby, Finch brings valuable overseas experience and is set to make his Championship debut at Goldington Road.
Also rejoining the Blues is Monty Royston, a familiar face for fans. After spending the last couple of seasons developing his game in Australia, the dynamic back-rower is back in Bedford colours, ready to make an impact in the domestic game once again.
Finally, the Blues are delighted to confirm the permanent signing of Rafe Witheat from Northampton Saints. A highly regarded young winger known for his electric pace and finishing ability, Witheat impressed during his previous loan spell and now joins the squad full-time for the upcoming campaign.
With these additions, Bedford Blues continue to build a well-rounded and competitive side as they look to challenge for top honours in the 2025/26 Championship Rugby season.
