St Neots home closed for three months over anti-social behaviour concerns

A property in St Neots has been ordered to close for three months following concerns about anti-social behaviour and drug misuse.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary secured the closure order for 79 Samuel Jones Crescent at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday 27 March.

The action was taken after repeated reports of anti-social behaviour and suspected drug-related activity linked to the address.

The court granted a full closure order, meaning no one is allowed to enter the property – apart from emergency services – until 26 June 2026.

PC Sam Palmer, from the St Neots Neighbourhood Team, said:

“Residents living in the surrounding area of the property have endured no end of anti-social behaviour incidents.

“The closure order prevents the tenants and those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences.”

The order has been issued under the Anti-Social Behaviour and Policing Act 2014.
