A partial closure order has been placed on a property in St Neots following repeated reports of anti-social behaviour and drug misuse.
Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court granted the order for an address in Prince Close, Eaton Socon, on Thursday 12 March, after an application from Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s St Neots Neighbourhood Team.
Police said the action followed ongoing complaints from residents about behaviour linked to the property.
The order means the home will be partially closed for three months. While the tenant is allowed to remain, no one else is permitted to enter the address — apart from emergency services — until 11 June 2026.
PC Bradleigh Bucknell, from the Neighbourhood Team, said:
“Residents living in the surrounding area of the property have endured no end of anti-social behaviour incidents.
“The closure order allows the tenants to remain living at the address but will prevent those who have been attending to commit anti-social behaviour and other criminal offences.”
The order has been made under the Anti-Social Behaviour and Policing Act 2014.
