Black Cat Radio is celebrating the successful conclusion of its 2025 Christmas Appeal, with the station delighted to have received over 40 donations from local businesses and residents.
The community’s generosity has helped raise a total of £1,567, all of which will go to 3 Pillars, a local charity supporting homeless people in the area. The charity provides food, toiletries, and other vital support to those in need, helping to make a real difference in people’s lives throughout the year.
Black Cat Radio Presenter, Dave Thomas, who came up with the idea of the appeal said:
“We are absolutely thrilled with the response from our listeners and local businesses. It’s incredible to see the community come together to support such an important cause, and we’re proud that our Christmas Appeal can make a positive impact on the lives of people living on the streets.”
3 Pillars expressed their gratitude to Black Cat Radio and all donors, highlighting how the funds will help them continue their work providing essential support to the homeless throughout the winter months.
Previous years’ appeals have raised a combined total of £5,000, meaning that over £6,500 has now been donated to 3 Pillars thanks to the ongoing support of Black Cat Radio listeners and local businesses.
