A teenager from Wilstead has officially become a Guinness World Record holder thanks to her extensive collection of cuddly toys.
Hope Roberts, 19, now holds the record for the largest collection of Jellycat toys in the world, and her collection has continued to grow even bigger since verification in December 2025.
Jellycat, founded in London in 1999, is known for its adorable and collectible toys, including the popular Bashful Bunny range, as well as quirky items like anthropomorphic avocados, coffee cups, and marshmallows.
According to Guinness World Records, adjudicator Emma Salt spent four hours verifying Hope’s collection, though she may need to return as the number of toys continues to increase.
Hope began her collection just over two years ago after buying a small white bunny from a local charity shop for only 20p. Since then, her passion for Jellycat toys has grown into a world record-breaking collection.
