Eaton Socon’s 1st XI claimed a hard-fought 29-run win over Wisbech in a thrilling encounter.
Skipper Jon Carpenter led with 47, while Matt Pateman’s 58 boosted Eaton to 224-8. Ray Jordan and Dan Darvell then starred with the ball, backed by sharp fielding and three run outs.
The win lifts Eaton Socon to fourth in the league as they build momentum this season.
