Dean Adamson became Bedford Blues' greatest ever try scorer on an historic afternoon at Goldington Road.
Dean Adamson made history on Saturday afternoon, becoming Bedford Blues' all-time leading try scorer during their 61-38 victory over London Scottish at a packed Goldington Road. Adamson’s record-breaking 146th try came in the second half, diving over in the corner after Fred Tuilagi's interception sparked a quick counterattack. The match was a try-fest, with Alfie Garside scoring a hat-trick and the Blues running in nine tries in total. Bedford dominated from the start, building a 35-10 lead by halftime. Despite a brief fightback from the visitors, Bedford sealed the win and maintained their second-place position in the Championship. Adamson’s moment of glory capped off a spectacular performance, making him a true legend at Goldington Road. Next week, Bedford faces rivals Ampthill in the Battle of Bedfordshire.
