Fire crews from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A1 near Diddington on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened at around 2:20, with crews from Huntingdon, St Neots and Gamlingay attending the scene.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to release one casualty from a vehicle before handing them into the care of ambulance crews.
The incident was brought under control and crews returned to their stations by 3.40pm.
