The Tempsford Museum and Archives, houses a vast collection of memorabilia, artefacts, deeds, estate maps, newspaper articles, family papers, photographs, books and letters associated with the village of Tempsford and included is numerous papers, artefact and other items associated with RAF Tempsford and the SOE agents that flew from the secret airfield in Tempsford that no one knew about until the 50 year security act was lifted. Not even the villagers!
On 30th and 31st of May the Museum will be holding a two day event called "Spirit of Resistance" all to do with RAF Tempsford, SIS and the SOE. Look at our website - www.tempsfordmuseum.co.uk for more details.
