Black Cat Radio's Blake Aidan (The Morning Show on Thursdays) and his wife, Sophie, are taking part in Pretty Muddy for Cancer Research.

Blake's mum, Darrell, passed away on 22nd May 2016 following a long battle with breast cancer.

To mark the 10 year anniversary of her passing, he and his wife Sophie are doing Pretty Muddy for Cancer Research on Saturday 6th June. They are also running it for Sophie's Granma, Ann, who they sadly lost in 2020 due to lung cancer.

Cancer will affect everyone in their lifetime in some way, so Blake and Sophie are looking to raise as much as they can in the fight against this cruel disease.

A lot has happened in the last 10 years and whilst things do get easier as time goes on, the losses of Blake's mum and Sophie's Granma hit harder since they welcomed their daughter, Faye, into the world in 2025. This run is not just for the Mum and Granma they were, but also for the grandmother and great grandmother they would have been.
