The St Neots Golf Club played host to the 2025 Seniors Invitation & Charity Day on 1st July, with 26 teams taking to the course in sweltering heat to raise money for a worthy cause.
Despite the soaring temperatures, the event was a great success, raising vital funds for the Senior Captain’s chosen charity, Little Miracles, which supports families with children who have additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions.
Among the standout performances on the day, John Shivers of St Neots Golf Club carded the best individual score by a home player, and even managed a spectacular Hole in Two on the 12th. He is pictured with Club Captain Peter Wilson and Seniors’ Captain Mick Mitchell.
Top honours for the best guest individual score went to Martin Watt from South Beds Golf Club.
The winning team of the day was Barkway Park Golf Club Ultra, hosted by Andy Howard, and made up of Keith Harrington, David Coles, and Adrian Woodstock.
Event organisers extended their thanks to everyone who took part, supported, or volunteered on what was a hot and demanding day. Their efforts helped raise both funds and awareness for an incredible local cause.
