Police are continuing to appeal for help in the search for 32-year-old Matthew Hallam, who has been missing since earlier this month.
Matthew was last seen at around 1.20pm on Thursday 11 July, heading towards a footpath near Thompson Meadow and High Street in Guilden Morden, Cambridgeshire. He was reported missing from his home in Thompson Meadow that same day.
Today (29 July), his family have released a new photo of Matthew, and police have shared additional CCTV footage showing the last confirmed sighting of him.
Matthew is described as 5’10”, of medium build, with shoulder-length brown hair. He is believed to have been wearing a grey cap, white T-shirt, dark-coloured shorts and white trainers at the time of his disappearance. He is also thought to have taken waterproof clothing with him.
Detective Inspector Lindsay Harbour said:
“Matthew’s disappearance is completely out of character and he hasn’t been in touch with his family since he went missing.
We remain concerned for his welfare and would urge anyone with information about Matthew’s whereabouts to get in touch.”
Police are asking residents, drivers and delivery workers in and around Guilden Morden to check any doorbell cameras, CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time he went missing.
