It has now been nine weeks since St Neots postman Darren Willis went missing — and his family say they remain desperate for answers.
Darren’s wife, Sarah Willis, has today issued another heartfelt appeal, saying knowing where he is “would change everything in a heartbeat.”
She wrote:
“It’s been the worst 9 weeks but knowing where you are would change everything in a heartbeat. Marriage is a lot of things and one is never giving up. I’ve never once given up on you in nearly 22 years.
The kids are smiling through their pain because you taught me to be strong. On holiday you told me how strong I was. I don’t feel strong, but looking at our children we both got something right.
Please keep sharing and please keep looking. If anyone has any ideas of places we might not have thought of, drop me a message. Sorry for the plea again but we are desperate to get him home again.”
The family’s renewed appeal comes as the public have continued to ask for updates on the search.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson told Black Cat Radio:
“We have had several reported sightings since he has been missing, none of which have been recent. Teams react to intelligence as and when it comes in, conducting searches where there are opportunities. Searches have been in and around St Neots, and other areas where intelligence has directed the teams.
A dedicated officer remains on the case, and we’ll update if the investigation progresses.”
Anyone who has seen Darren or has any information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Cambridgeshire Police.
