A new link road designed to improve safety and connectivity in Roxton and Wyboston is now open to traffic.
The new stretch of road comprises two sections — Baron Way and Dove Farm Lane. Baron Way pays tribute to the Baron family, the last residents of the historic Brook Cottages, while Dove Farm Lane is named after the neighbouring farm that borders the new road.
Local councillors gathered at the site to celebrate the opening, joined by Lisa and Lewis, the daughter and grandson of Brook Cottages’ final resident, who helped mark the occasion.
The new link is expected to ease congestion in the area and support safer journeys for local communities and commuters alike.
