A man from Cambourne has been jailed for nearly six years for running a county lines drug operation between London, Cambridgeshire and Milton Keynes. Kiama Guy, 26, of Royce Street in West Cambourne, was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court after admitting a string of drug-related offences.
Guy was arrested on 11 March as part of Operation Hypernova – a major police crackdown on county lines. When officers stopped him, they found cannabis worth over £56,000, along with MDMA, cocaine, £930 in cash, a Rolex, a £14,000 ring, and mobile phones used to sell drugs. Further searches revealed £6,000 in cryptocurrency assets linked to money laundering.
In court, Guy admitted ten offences including possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of Class A, B and C drugs, and concealing criminal property. He was sentenced to five years and ten months behind bars.
Detective Constable Tom Corbett said the conviction highlights the force’s determination to tackle county lines. “This sentence shows our commitment to bringing individuals involved in county lines to justice,” he said. “We have removed another drug dealer from our community and stopped a large number of drugs finding their way onto the streets.”
