Bedford’s new What’s On Hub has officially opened its doors in the former Debenhams building on Silver Street, marking a major step forward in the town’s cultural and tourism revival.
The new centre combines a box office and visitor information hub, designed to promote local events, attractions, and tourism across the borough. It’s set to become a focal point for residents and visitors looking to explore what Bedford has to offer.
Speaking at the opening, Mayor Tom Wootton hailed the launch as “Bedford’s time to shine,” adding that the hub is part of wider preparations for the arrival of Universal Studios in 2031.
