National Highways is carrying out essential works to connect the new Cambridge Road at Eltisley to the A428 requiring road closures across the weekend.
National Highways is repeating a weekend closure to continue essential work in connecting the new Cambridge Road at Eltisley to the A428.
This weekend, the A428 will be closed once again between Tithe Farm Roundabout and Caxton Gibbet Roundabout. The closures will run from 8pm on Friday 12 September until 6am on Monday 15 September, following a similar weekend closure a fortnight ago.
Traffic will be diverted along the A428 towards St Neots, joining the A1 northbound at Wyboston Interchange. Drivers should then leave the A1 at Brampton, follow the A14 eastbound and then follow the A1198 Ermine Street to reach Caxton Gibbet.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, follow the diversion signs, and allow extra time for their journeys while the roadworks are in place.
