Two men from Moggerhanger have been charged in connection with a raid at Gamlingay Post Office.
Police were called to the store on Cinques Road shortly before 9.30pm on 29 September, after four men forced entry using a crowbar. The suspects left the scene in a blue Ford..
Ben Barnham, 32, and Ricky Mackmurdie, 33, both of The Warrens, Moggerhanger, were arrested on 1 October. They have been charged with conspiring to commit burglary between 9 August and 2 October, and conspiring to steal a motor vehicle.
The pair appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on 3 October and have been remanded to appear at Luton Crown Court on 3 November.
