A St Neots fitness group is gearing up for a marathon test of endurance – 25 bootcamp sessions back-to-back in just 24 hours – all to raise money for three life-changing charities.
ABSolute Storm Fitness, led by coach Abi Black, will take on the epic challenge across 6–7 September 2025 at Priory Park in St Neots. The team hopes to raise vital funds for Ehlers Danlos Support UK, Children’s Burns Camps, and Alzheimer’s Society.
Now in its third year, the event has already become a much-loved tradition in the town’s fitness calendar, with previous challenges raising thousands of pounds. Over the course of the weekend, the group is expected to rack up tens of thousands of burpees, sit-ups and squats, all in the name of charity.
Sessions will be open to the public, with friends, families and supporters encouraged to join in for a workout or two at Priory Park (Rowley Road side). Each class will be designed to be inclusive, fun and community-driven – meaning anyone can take part, no matter their fitness level.
Coach Abi Black, who turned her lockdown fitness journey into a full-time career as a personal trainer, said the 24-hour challenge is about more than just exercise:
“What started as a personal journey into fitness has become a powerful way to bring people together and give back. Taking on 25 boot camps in 24 hours is no small challenge, but the energy, determination, and spirit of this group never fail to inspire me. We’d love the whole community to get involved – whether that’s jumping into a session or supporting us with a donation. Every penny raised will make a real difference.”
All money raised will be split equally between the three chosen charities, supporting people living with long-term conditions, children recovering from burns injuries, and families affected by dementia.
