A St Neots woman has been sentenced to five years and seven months in prison after pleading guilty to supplying cocaine and cannabis.
Police executed a warrant at Lemmie Smith’s caravan on Cambridge Road in July, recovering £2,170 in cash, along with packaged cannabis and cocaine, plus notes detailing her drug supply activity. The seized drugs were estimated to have a combined street value of around £3,040.
Judge Philip Grey also ordered the cash seized during the investigation to be donated to local charities, including Cambridge Cyrenians, Cambridge Aid, Cambridge Women’s Aid, The Red Hen Project, and others.
Detective Constable Laura Sharplin said: “Smith wrongly thought her messages would not be seen and had no regard for the potential devastation she could cause by supplying such dangerous substances. We will not tolerate drug dealing as it causes immeasurable harm in our communities.”
Residents with information about drug activity are encouraged to report it online.
