Shuttleworth has revealed its line-up of themed air shows for 2026, following a record-breaking 2025 season which is set to welcome more than 30,000 visitors to its Biggleswade aerodrome.
The new programme features seven themed events between May and October, including the return of the popular two-day Festival of Flight in June. Shuttleworth says the expanded show will feature the most ground attractions and visiting aircraft it has ever hosted, with all serviceable Collection aircraft taking to the skies across the weekend.
The season will open on Sunday 10 May with the Season Premiere, before introducing a new Wings & Wheels event later that month, which will include an arena area with vehicles, racing simulators and live performances. Other highlights include the Flying Proms in August, with a new Grand Marquee option for 2026, and the Military Show on 29 August, featuring reenactments and historic military aircraft.
The calendar will close on 4 October with Race Day, inspired by Shuttleworth’s founder Richard Shuttleworth and featuring a mix of sprint racing and guest vehicles. As in previous years, children under 18 will be able to attend most shows for free.
Shuttleworth says the 2026 programme will combine its traditional displays with new features to attract visitors.
