It’s the end of the road for the Serious About St Neots app — the first of its kind in the country, designed to champion our town and connect the community.
Run voluntarily by Mark Hansard and Gary Lee — both well known locally for their double-act hosting town events like the Christmas Lights Switch-On and as former Black Cat Radio volunteers — the app aimed to offer an always-updated, completely free guide to what’s happening across St Neots.
Despite strong download numbers and continued local interest, the team say limited engagement from businesses and key groups has made the project unsustainable.
The app will remain online for one more month to allow loyalty scheme users to switch to stamp cards.
