British Transport Police attempting to reuinite luggage with passengers caught up in Huntingdon Train incident.

British Transport Police (BTP) are working to return property left behind following the recent major incident on a train in Huntingdon.

Passengers who lost items are asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 153 of 2 November.

Upon calling you will need to provide details of the carriage and seat youwere in, along with a description of the property.

Appointments will then be arranged for items to be collected in person at BTP offices in Peterborough or London, with the exact location confirmed at the time of booking.

BTP has warned that while officers are working to reunite passengers with their belongings as quickly as possible, they cannot currently provide a timeframe for appointments. Items cannot be posted, and property will only be returned in person at a scheduled appointment.

The force thanked passengers for their patience and understanding as they carry out this process.
