
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in St Neots left a man in hospital in a critical condition.
Emergency services were called to Cambridge Road, near the B1428, at around 5.15pm on Tuesday (9 September) after a silver Vauxhall Movano van left the road, collided with a tree and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver, a man in his 40s from Great Staughton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Officers are asking anyone who saw the collision, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it, to get in touch.
