Drivers are being warned of a series of planned overnight closures affecting the A1 and the A428. The closures, which are part of ongoing improvement and connection works, will see diversions put in place around Wyboston, Tempsford, St Neots, and Caxton Gibbet.
A1 Southbound – Wyboston to Tempsford
The A1 southbound will be closed overnight from 9pm to 5am on:

Traffic will be diverted off the A1 at Wyboston Interchange onto the A428 towards St Neots, then south on Barford Road to rejoin the A1 at Tempsford.
A428 – Tithe Farm to Caxton Gibbet
As part of the connection of the new Cambridge Road, Eltisley, to the A428, the road will be closed overnight from 8pm to 6am on:

During these closures, traffic will be diverted along the A428 towards St Neots, joining the A1 northbound at Wyboston Interchange. Drivers will leave the A1 at Brampton, travel along the A14 eastbound and then onto the A1198 Ermine Street towards Caxton Gibbet.
