Bedford residents have taken centre stage in a new music video, featuring fans and local people as the stars, set to the soundtrack of Tom Grennan’s hit single Remind Me, which the pop-star has subsequently backed.
While not a Grennan music video, the singer has publicly backed the project, highlighting the town and its community.
The video, filmed across Bedford last month, captures everyday life in the town — from bustling markets and riverside parks to independent cafes and community spaces.
More than 30 local residents and organisations took part, including Bedford Borough Council’s gardening team, Bedfordshire Police, Bedford Blues Rugby Club, market stallholders, shop and restaurant teams, and dance and community groups.
Fans also joined in, gathering at Bedford Esquires — the venue where Tom first performed — to be part of the filming, singing along and sharing messages of support.
Tom Grennan said of the project:
“I’m absolutely buzzing to be coming back to Bedford Park next year. There’s nothing like playing a hometown show, the energy, the memories, the people, it’s all magic to me. I saw the video the fans put together and I absolutely loved it, it was amazing to see the whole community come together like that.”
Adding a personal touch, Tom’s father, Martin Grennan, made a cameo in the video, recreating one of his son’s early stage poses. “It was a great afternoon meeting all Tom’s fans and doing the video. Me and Mrs G can’t wait to see him play back in Bedford….it’s going to be MIGHTY!” he said.

The video highlights Bedford’s vibrant community and local pride, turning everyday residents into stars and shining a spotlight on the town that helped inspire one of the UK’s most exciting music talents.
Tom Grennan, on seeing his dad appear in the video said:
“It was a lovely surprise to spot my dad in there too, haha! I can’t wait to get back on that stage and share another unforgettable night with everyone.”
Tom Grennan will be headlining the Bedford Summer Session show in Bedford Park on Saturday 4th July.
